Sesame Mustard Ceramic Serving Plate

This set has been glazed with 2 colors but turned out to have 3 hues of colors from the layer overlapping effects. This special piece was made using recycled dark clays. Some tiny dark spots came through after firing and resulted in a few dimples as you can see from the photos.Se 

Tried out a new color combi with darker color choices. It definitely appeared stronger in character. Love it! 

Every plate is made and glazed by hand in my working studio in Singapore.

Please note that all ceramic pieces are handmade. There are no 2 bowls or plates that look exactly identical. Even if I tried to replicate, it might not turn out exactly the same just like us humans. We are all unique in our own ways. Some irregularities of form in every piece does not impact its usage. Do note that each piece is fired at at least 1250°C with lead-free glazes.
