Amy discovered ceramic from an art market where she met her teacher @euphoramics. She loves the feeling of making things with hands through pottery. Her ceramic works are mainly inspired by movement in a rigid body where she champions the art of asymmetrical forms. She enjoys dancing with clay and the joy from glazing that has often given her burst of surprises, her curiosity satiated. As an introvert herself, she remembers her childhood of endless color pencil drawings on any paper she could find. Amy was born and bred in Malaysia before moving to Singapore some 10 odd years ago. Extending her repertoire of skills beyond her professional career of 10 years as a hybrid designer, proficient in both designing and programming, she now devotes her full time using her kinesthetic senses in making ceramic homewares, accessories and painting. She aspires to be a beaming light in spreading sparkles of joy to the world around through her crafts. Amy is open to collaborating with other brands.
