Staccato Plate - Blue Rush

Material: Fine White stoneware
Firing: Electric

Method: This plate is made with the slab technique with the clay first rolled out flat, cut and shaped by hand. 

Highlight: This splash of indigo blue that came as a surprise. I was expecting it to be a slightly darker blue as it usually would be. This hue presents itself sweetly in between blue and purple, matte in texture, paired perfectly with orangey yellow, reminds me of the beach view in sunset.

Please note that all ceramic pieces are handmade by me in Singapore. Some irregularities of form in every piece does not impact its usage. Do note that each piece is fired at cone 10 (at least 1260°C) with lead-free glazes that makes our ceramic ware food-safe and microwave-friendly.  Please check with us if you require further information.

We suggest cleaning them once after use and avoid leaving them soaking in water.
