Hand-painted Series - Lake Windermere Plate

If you have been to Lake Windermere at Lake District, UK. This is where it is. Some places left me thinking about it again and again, and this is one of them. That northern England land with more than 200 lakes all together. Since knowing how to use underglaze to paint these watercolor paintings, I am so so glad that I could lock this wonderful memory unto artpieces on plate. 

It was captured near early autumn, near the body of water of Lake Windermere. The lay-back life, the scroll, and the chasing of sunsets, looking at fall trees and the windy road back to our Wood house.

Please note that all ceramic pieces are handmade. There are no 2 bowls or plates that look exactly identical. Even if I tried to replicate, it might not turn out exactly the same just like us humans. We are all unique in our own ways. Some irregularities of form in every piece does not impact its usage. Do note that each piece is fired at at least 1260°C with lead-free glazes.
