This painting is inspired by the streets of Istanbul. A city filled with friendly people, great food and beautiful architecture. 

I have combined a few elements in this digital drawing. A wholesome kebab meal completed with side dishes that I could not name and a hearty mug of Ayran. That was my first order of the many Ayran drinks I repeatedly ordered while travelling in Turkey, so refreshing and satisfying! 

In the background, we have the historical looking apartment buildings which have caught my eyes. I'm not sure how old they were but they're really pretty. Along one of these quaint little streets, I found a little bookstore tucked in a corner selling not just books, they also sell vinyl records and vintage postcards. 

I have used a tablet laptop to create this artwork using Photoshop. It would make a great dining room art piece!
