The Bosphorus Seagulls Plate | Hand-painted Series

A scene so familiar if you've ever cruised along the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul. These strong seagulls flew to the speed of the ferry I was on, occassionally touching the surface of the water. It was almost as if they were racing one another, how playful! It was a sight to remember

Firing: Electric

Painted with lead-free Amaco underglaze and coated with a layer of transparent glaze.

Please note that all ceramic pieces are handmade by myself in Singapore. Some irregularities of form in every piece does not impact its usage. Do note that each piece is fired at cone 10 (at least 1260°C) with lead-free glazes that makes our ceramic ware food-safe and microwave-friendly.  Please check with us if you require further information.

We suggest cleaning them once after use and avoid leaving them soaking in water.
